Acupuncture, Massage and Doula Services in North and East London
Tara Rivero Zea began studying acupuncture in 2007 in The London College of Traditional Acupuncture, and this led onto the study of Tui Na, which is a Chinese Massage therapy based on the same principles as acupuncture. Finding she got good results by combining the two together, and realising she had a talent for bodywork, Tara went onto gain further Postgraduate training in many other types of massage techniques.
She is able to offer a wide range of services including acupuncture, especially for fertility and pregnancy, tuina, pregnancy and postnatal massage, paediatric acupuncture and Tui Na, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, crystal healing and cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation massage.
Acupuncture and Massage for Pregnancy, Labour & Postnatal Recovery
Tara is the mother of four young children and used acupuncture throughout her own pregnancies and deliveries. She became interested in treating children with Chinese Medicine whilst nursing her own through a variety of childhood ailments.
Tara specialises in using acupuncture and massage for fertility, pregnancy and paediatric treatments. This passion for all things related to pregnancy, birth and children led her to train as a doula and she completed her training with Nurturing Birth in May 2013 and is currently working with her mentor to become a recognised doula with Doula UK.
Tara then trained with IPEN to become a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. After her third and fourth baby she encapsulated her own placenta, and after feeling the benefits first hand she now offers this service across North and East London and Essex Borders. E8, E9, E5, E17, E11, N16 are just some of the postcodes she covers.
Tara loves combining her knowledge of acupuncture and massage with her doula skills to assist women through the antenatal, delivery and postnatal stages of their pregnancies.
