What happens in a treatment?
During the first appointment Tara will ask you about your main complaint, past medical history, lifestyle, diet and emotions. This information will help Tara to make a full diagnosis and enable her to select the oils which are right for you. The consultation usually lasts about 15 minutes, and after that Tara will give a full body massage with the oils that she has selected for your treatment. You will keep your underwear on and be covered by towels during the treatment. It is quite common to fall asleep during a treatment, and you are likely to feel very relaxed afterwards, so it is a good idea to plan some “down time” after your treatment when you can rest. The number of treatments you will need depends on why you are having the massage, whether for relaxation purposes or to treat a specific problem. Usually a course of 4 treatments are recommended initially, but you can discuss this with Tara after your first treatment. |
